Collaborative Work

Marsha Owen and Silvan Goddin

::

Marsha is a local potter who has been the owner of Marsha Owen Pottery for over 25 years. She and her husband, Rick Moss, work out of their home studio in West Raleigh, making a variety of porcelain and stoneware utilitarian pots.

Silvan is the daughter of an old friend. Since she was nine she has been occasionally working with us in the studio. She is now fourteen. She has made most of the small figures which adorn Marsha's pots in this show. Rick, Silvan, and Marsha all worked on the glazing.

The Collectors Gallery is a full service fine art and fine craft gallery run by Rory Parnell, formerly of Raleigh Contemporary Gallery, and Megg Rader, former Executive Director of Artspace.
